Modern web systems for organisations doing complex work
We help organisations replace brittle manual processes with practical online systems that improve workflow, visibility, and service delivery. That can include portals, bookings, reporting, automation, integrations, and case management.
Systems built around the way your organisation actually works
Aptigence combines product thinking, workflow discovery, and practical engineering to build digital systems that are useful on day one and adaptable over time.
Workflow and operations systems
Replace spreadsheets, hand-offs, and disconnected steps with a shared system that keeps work moving and responsibilities visible.
Online bookings and service delivery
Build online experiences that support bookings, scheduling, intake, communications, and follow-up for service-based organisations.
Portals for staff, clients, and members
Create secure, task-oriented portals that make it easier for people to access information, request support, and complete key actions online.
Reporting and dashboards
Turn operational data into visibility for managers, boards, and delivery teams with reporting that reflects real workflows and decisions.
Integrations and automation
Connect the systems you already rely on and automate repetitive work so your team spends less time moving data around by hand.
Case and compliance management
When the work demands structured matters, audit trails, and lifecycle visibility, Aptigence can deliver robust case and workflow platforms too.
The same systems thinking applies across very different kinds of work
From case workflows to service platforms
Aptigence is not limited to one software category. The same discipline used in complex case systems also works for booking-driven services, operational portals, reporting layers, and online business tools.
Projects like WholeSpace show how Aptigence can support organisations that need better scheduling, clearer service coordination, stronger online capability, and less manual friction across day-to-day operations.
Reusable foundations when they make sense
Some organisations need a tailored build from the ground up. Others benefit from starting with an Aptigence platform and shaping it around their workflow, team, and service model.
AttiCase
Employee Relations case management re-imagined! OpenCaseTracker has been the preeminent digital case management system for Unions and Employee Relations teams for 20 years. AttiCase is OpenCaseTracker brought into the 2020s.
AttiCase Case management designed around the way professionals actually work. Managing workplace cases isn't simply about recording information. It's about maintaining continuity across weeks or months, understanding what matters today, responding to changing priorities, collaborating with colleagues, meeting organisational obligations, and making well-informed decisions under pressure. AttiCase has been designed from the ground up to support that reality. Whether you're managing employee relations matters, workplace investigations, complaints, misconduct, grievances, industrial issues, integrity matters or regulatory investigations, AttiCase helps your team stay organised, informed and in control. More than a database Most case management systems focus on storing information. AttiCase focuses on helping people use it. Every part of the system has been designed around the daily work of case professionals. When you return to work in the morning, AttiCase helps you continue where you left off. When something important changes, it brings that to your attention. When you need to understand a case, it presents the information in a way that reflects how investigations and workplace matters actually evolve. The result is less time searching, less cognitive load, and more confidence that nothing important has been missed. Built around professional responsibility Every organisation manages cases differently. But the underlying responsibilities are remarkably similar. People need to: receive new matters assess risk allocate work conduct investigations manage evidence record decisions communicate with stakeholders collaborate across teams maintain accurate records demonstrate accountability. AttiCase has been designed around those responsibilities rather than forcing organisations to adapt to rigid software workflows. Operational awareness without information overload Managers need to understand what's happening across hundreds or thousands of cases. Case workers need to focus on today's work. Those are different problems. AttiCase separates personal workflow from organisational oversight. Individuals see a calm, focused workbench that helps them continue meaningful work. Team leaders gain operational views that identify emerging risks, overdue matters, workload distribution and cases requiring intervention. Executives gain confidence that important work is progressing without needing to drown in operational detail. Designed for long-running cases Many workplace matters remain open for months. Some continue for years. Important conversations, documents and decisions accumulate over time, making it increasingly difficult to understand the current state of a case. AttiCase has been specifically designed to support long-running, information-rich matters. Instead of simply displaying everything in chronological order, it helps users understand what is relevant now while preserving the complete history of every decision and action. Security by design Workplace investigations frequently involve highly sensitive information. AttiCase incorporates fine-grained permission controls, protected document storage, comprehensive audit history and role-based visibility throughout the system. People see the information they are authorised to see—and nothing more. Organisations retain a complete record of significant activity for accountability, governance and compliance purposes. Flexible enough for different organisations AttiCase is suitable for organisations that manage complex workplace matters, including: Government departments Local government Public sector agencies Health services Universities Regulatory authorities Membership organisations Unions Professional associations Corporate employee relations teams The system adapts to different organisational terminology and processes without losing consistency or governance. Built from real experience AttiCase wasn't created by software developers looking for a market. It has evolved from more than two decades of developing case management systems used by employee relations professionals, investigators and industrial organisations managing tens of thousands of real workplace cases. Every design decision has been informed by observing how experienced practitioners actually work—not by assumptions about how software ought to be used. The next generation of workplace case management AttiCase combines modern usability with professional governance. It helps organisations manage complex matters more effectively while making everyday work simpler for the people responsible for delivering it. Because better case management isn't just about capturing information. It's about helping professionals make better decisions.
Decades of experience turning messy workflows into useful systems
Aptigence was founded by Jason Cleeland, a long-time software builder whose work has spanned open source, surveys, booking systems, workflow platforms, membership tooling, and case management.
That experience led to projects like LimeSurvey, OpenCaseTracker, Omslets, and WholeSpace. Different domains, same approach: understand the real work, map the friction, and build software that fits the organisation rather than forcing the organisation to fit the software.
Aptigence continues that mission today with practical systems for organisations that need better portals, service tools, reporting, automation, and workflow clarity.
